Syracuse Gastroenterological Associates (SGA) is the oldest established gastroenterology practice in Central NY. The practice has 3 office locations.
Syracuse Gastroenterological Associates (SGA), consists of physicians and mid level providers (see about us for information on our providers and administration)
Procedures are performed at the Crouse Hospital Outpatient Endoscopy Unit in the CNY Medical Center (Syracuse) and Community Hospital (Hamilton). Crouse Hospital Outpatient Endoscopy Unit is connected to our CNY office. Dr. David Honold serves as medical director. The practice also participates in a variety of clinical research studies, including the treatment of Hepatitis C.
The physicians of SGA are accomplished in a wide array of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, which include:
Colonoscopy
Upper Endoscopy
ERCP
Esophageal Manometry
Ambulatory 24 hour pH monitoring
Endoscopic Ultrasound
Stenting of obstructions of the esophagus, colon and biliary tree
Nd:YAG laser and Argon Plasma Coaggulation therapy
