Dr. Dennis W. Reedy
Dennis Reedy is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He trained in Internal Medicine at Albany Medical College In Albany, NY and in Gastroenterology at the SUNY Health Science Center (now called Upstate Medical University) in Syracuse, NY. Dr. Reedy's areas of expertise include esophageal motility and management of diseases of the biliary tract.
Dr. David S. Kaplan
Dr. Kaplan is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He was elected to Fellowship of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American College of Physicians. He is also a Fellow of the American Gastroenterologlcal Association. He Graduated in 1983 from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He completed his internship, residency and Fellowship at the SUNY Health Science Center at Syracuse. He has extensive experience and Interest in the management of inflammatory bowel disease and diseases of the biliary tree and pancreas. He has lectured frequently on various gastrointestinal disorders.
Intikhab Iqbal, MD
Dr. Iqbal is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He joined Syracuse Gastro In April 2011 after the retirement of Dr. David Honold. He is a graduate of Rawalpindi Medical College. He Is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, New York Society of Gastroenterology and American Society for study of Liver Diseases. Dr. Iqbal diagnoses and treats all aspects of digestive diseases/disorders and maintains a special interest In colon rectal cancer screening, hepatology, and Capsule Endoscopy.
Adam M. Berg, MD
Dr. Berg is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He joined Syracuse Gastro in 2013 after finishing his fellowship in gastroenterology at Boston University Medical Center. He completed his internal medicine training at Yale New Haven Hospital and graduated from medical school at George Washington University in Washington DC. Specializing in fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT or fecal transplantation). He has a special interest in luminal diseases especially inflammatory bowel disease (IBD- ulcerative colitis and crohn’s disease) and irritable bowel syndrome. He has several peer reviewed articles on IBD and Clostridium difficile.
Young Lee, MD
Young Lee is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He joined our team in October 2018. He trained in Internal Medicine at New Jersey Medical School / Rutgers University and Gastroenterology at Westchester Medical Center / New York Medical College. Dr Lee completed an additional fellowship in advanced endoscopy at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Sekou R. Rawlins
Dr. Sekou Rawlins is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He joined our team in October 2019. He graduated from the BsMD program at the Howard University College of Medicine before completing an Internal Medicine residency at the Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan. He completed a Gastroenterology fellowship at SUNY Upstate, and served as an Associate Program Director for the residency program- as well as a faculty member in the division of Gastroenterology for several years. He has a particular interest in Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
Natalya Iorio, MD
Dr. Natalya Iorio is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. She is originally from California and graduated from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). She completed her internship and Internal Medicine residency at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. She then completed her Gastroenterology fellowship at Upstate Medical University. Dr. Iorio joined Syracuse Gastroenterological Associates in November 2019.
Vincent L. LoCoco, PA-C
Vincent LoCoco received his degree as a Physician Assistant from Albany Medical College In Albany, NY. He has been with Syracuse Gastroenterologlcal Associates since 1997.
Brittany L. Maloney, PA-C
Brittany graduated from Daemen College's Physician Assistant program in Buffalo, NY in 2015. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the New York State Society of Physician Assistants. Brittany is a Syracuse native, who in many different capacities, has worked and volunteered at local hospitals within the community. She participates in frequent medical mission trips and has provided medical care to many underserved communities in the Dominican Republic, Haiti, and Honduras. Brittany joined Syracuse Gastro in 2017
Kaylyn E. Woodrick, NP
Kaylyn is a graduate from Le Moyne College’s DDPN program. She remained an active member in Alpha Sigma Nu and SigmaTheta Tau Honor Societies. Prior to working at Syracuse Gastro, she worked as a Registered Nurse for four years at St. Joseph’s Hospital, caringfor orthopedic and bariatric surgery patient populations. She later graduated from Le Moyne College’s Family Nurse Practitioner program in 2019. She is board certified through AANP. Kaylyn joined the Syracuse Gastro team in 2019.
